We get it. Visiting a new church can feel a little strange, right?
Tips for First-Time Guests:
- Arrive Early: Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before the service starts to find a seat and get comfortable.
- Follow Along: The bulletin or program will guide you through the service. Watching others can also help you know when to stand, sit, or respond.

What about my kids?
A Kingdom Perspective
In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." By including children in the main service, we are embracing this call, allowing them to experience the presence of God and the love of His people.
We believe children are an essential part of the church and should participate in the main worship service alongside their families. This allows them to witness and engage in authentic worship, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word, helping to lay a foundation for lifelong faith. By being present, children learn the importance of worship, develop reverence, and grow in their understanding of what it means to be part of the body of Christ. Their inclusion reinforces the idea that they are not separate or secondary members but valued participants in the church community.
Worshiping together also strengthens family bonds and provides shared spiritual experiences that encourage faith discussions at home. While children may not grasp everything immediately, they are absorbing the practices and truths of the faith in meaningful ways. Including them fosters intergenerational relationships, offers opportunities for mentorship, and teaches the entire church to embrace grace and patience. Ultimately, we follow Jesus’ example of welcoming children into His presence, knowing that their involvement in worship benefits both them and the wider church family.
